we survived the night

After the downpour we came home, made dinner and played a tough round of Mexican train. That's a domino game to those who don't know. The disco finally ended and I finished my book, staying up until 10:30 to do so. We took our regualr walk to school, stopped for coffee and sat in the park for about 10 minutes because it is such a beautiful morning. I realized I haven't said anything about the kids school, so check out the short scenes of them here. They both seem to have gotten over the fact that they are indeed in school all day, and the point of us coming was to get Mason talking more spanish, which he seems to be doing. Working on first chapter of cookbook this morning and hope to get at least 3 recipes in before I head back out to take the kids lunch. Mas tarde! Juanita
