Here's Market, and it really doesn't do it justice.

  2. OK, I finally think I have figured out how this works. I was so mad last night. I wrote a long posting, and when I tried to post, it didn't go through. This is a crazy thing, this blogging. Half the time it won't work for me.
Anyway, we are all fine here. Today it is 105. Somewhere in the panhandle it hit 113. Be glad you are not in OKC.
We got some good news from California. Chris Stewart (not the best batter in the league) finally made himself a hero. The game was in the 11th inning with the bases loaded. Chris was up to bat. He was 2 and 0. Kathy said she yelled at the TV, "Come on, Chris, do your thing!" Apparently he heard. He hit a Grand Slam, and they won the game.
Also, there is bad news. Kathy said that Dona has been in the hospital twice in the last few weeks. She is weak, has difficulty breathing, and just seemed confused. They finally did some tests and got the results yesterday. She is in Stage 4 of lung cancer. It has already spread to her liver and bladder. Apparently she isn't strong enough to have chemo. The docs said she could have a couple of months, but in her condition it will likely me sooner. No other details yet.
We have been working on the office, and it is taking shape. Cheryl is coming Monday to help me arrange stuff on the shelves. I think you'll be surprised at how good it looks.
Olivia and Mason, are you trying to give me a heart attack? I saw the pics of you and the snakes! Weren't you so scared? Also loved the salsa dancing and the tour in the tut tut.
Today is Lisa Shillingburg's birthday, so we are going out to dinner tomorrow night to celebrate. (My long celebration is finally over ):
It sounds as if you are having the time of your lives. Are Anne and Andy there yet. Sure wish we could be.
A little bird told me that Mason and Olivia are getting along beautifully, no arguing. I am so excited. If my bird tells me it is a lasting occurrence, there might be nice surprise when they come in August.
    Love,
