Ruth took me to the mercado this morning for a 2 hour shopping spree of vegetables. It blew me away, and I swear I almost cried at the bounty. I bought beautiful baby eggplants, perfect zucchini, leeche fruit (can't wait to figure THAT out) avocado, baby lettuces....then topped it off with $3 worth of ginger blossoms. I remember my first dinner party in Dallas where I paid $20 for 3 stems of ginger blossoms. Wanted you to see these those and oh! The fava beans. Gonna have some fun with those.
